Ladies and gentleman, I have to believe that today there are as many, or should be, ladies as there are men who are interested in keeping their vehicles in shape. I am a retired (disabled combat veteran) engineer who lives in southwest Georgia...in the very corner. I love this country and the people who make it great. I have had a few cars and trucks in my time so to speak. My first car was a '64 VW..I wish I still had that jewel. Later I had a 65 Nova 350ci. After that I drove a Corvette 427ci, I think it was 375hp. By the way the 442's were running 400hp and the GTO TRI Powers nudged 400hp...Billy Jacobs was running the Kid Goat, a 426ci hemi in a Dodge Dart with a four speed punch drive. I think the total delivered hp was in the 700 range. I actually saw Billy Jacobs race Don Garlette..the Kid Goat vs the Swamp Rat..funny car and rail. I suppose I am way down a rabbit trail but I remember those days and smile. I was turning in the high tens and could drive anything for anybody. These days I am pleased with my '88 Bronco II, 2.9 V6 FI 4WD and my '90 F150 5.0 LTR Pick Up. Anymore, I don't ride in helicopters nor do I jump out of airplanes..but then, I don't drag race. I however do know the difference in the sensations.
I am working on my '88 Bronco II and '90 F150. I will help you when I can and thank you in advance..
Richard
