Got home today locked the truck as usual lights wouldn't go out in the in terior and the horn beeped 3 times usually indicating somethings wrong, got out and tried again same thing. The indicator says door ajar and the lights won't go out. I thought you could re-set the computer by loosening the neg cable on the battery. Any help, my batteries going dead or I'm without a truck in the AM.

sounds like the door jamb switch is stuck go take wd-40 and spray a lot of it into each door latch the door part on all the latches it is common for them to stick this is one of the best ways to fix them

 

In the mean time, if you don't want to drain your battery again, try pluggin out the interior lights relay, it is located in the passenger comparment fuse panes, and depending in your Exp model, most of the times is the relay 1. Check your owners manual.
