I want to add some driving lights to the front of my 05 superduty. I am thinking about a "Bull bar" just because it would add mounting locations, and I like the ones I have seen on other vehicles. Has anyone done this with their superduty? If so do you have any pics, also what brand of bar did you use?
Thanks! I liked the look of both. Did a search for them but not alot out there for 2005 model superduties yet. I did find a Go Rhino brand bull bar for $310.00 in chrome, but I don't know anything about the brand. Anyone heard of these?
Sorry about the link. I copy / pasted it as it was. I'll slap myself with a large fish.
Look at the mounting of them before you buy. The WAAG can actually be used to push stuff. Has the standard uprights like a full size brush / grill guard, just not so offensive looking. Real solid unit.
Check out my gallery. I just added 4 8" lights to the front of my truck on a light bar I got. Link and pics in the gallery. By the way, I found out last weekend how strong that bar is, I had to pull a car up onto a trailer and decided to see how well it would hold up so I just threw the strap around the bar and pulled the car up onto the trailer. Not even a smudge on the powder coat, I was pretty impressed.
I do alot of four wheeling at night down at the dunes (going to and from comp hill I like to take the scenic route) and the factory headlights just weren't cuttin' it. I got a smokin' deal on 'em and couldn't pass it up. Plus they work great when those moron fast and the furious wannabe's cut me off.
I hear ya. I mounted 2 130 watt lights under my back bumper too for the little turds. Can't even notice them until they pull up so close that you think you have a trailer.
Ugg, stay away from the Pro Comp if you can. My truck rides like garbage. I have to hold my breath when I see a bump coming cuz I know it's gonna be brutal. I know I have good shocks too (Bilstein 5100's) so it HAS to be the lift. If you want a cheap lift though and don't care about the ride as much, roll with it but if you can steer clear of it, I would. I'm running 37x12.50x16.5 SSR's on 16.5x9.75 Eagle Alloys. It rubs the springs a tiny bit on full lock to the right but that's it. I wheel my truck pretty often too and it will rub on full lock with some articulation but it doesn't bother me. I didn't buy the truck for the turning radius anyways... Oh yeah, I took off both anti-sway bars and it freed up the suspension quite a bit too, can get some more articulation out of it now.
Any idea how much backspacing they are. I want to run 37" or 36" but with most of the 6" lifts, I'm hearing some rubbing issues and 35's just don't look right on 6"
That's alright, don't sweat it. I'm getting some pretty good ideas for it, plus I have a year to contemplate the ignorance I'm gonna unleash on that truck.
Appreciate the help man.

BFR250SD...I run a DR 6" lift with 37" MTRs. Rims are 17x10, 4.5" BS. I rubbed the air valance but that was solved with dremmel. No rubbing on the springs at full lock but it will rub when wheeled hard. Just FYI.
