I have an 86' f-150 4x4, and when i decelerate i get a muffled back fire out the exhasut pipes and a shuddering engine. I just rimoved and cleaned the throttle body, and it idles and accelerates fine. it's only upon deceleration thatit shudders and backfires. could this be a plugged catalytic convertor?
