Spring confirmation & leveling
I would like to level my '04 F350 and am considering installing "X" springs to acheive this. However, from reading various posts it appears that the amount of lift from chaning to X springs is relative to the springs that are currently in the truck. Am I reading the door sticker correctly in assuming my truck currently has "V" springs with a 5200# FGAWR? If this is correct will installing "X" springs raise the truck the needed 2" to level the truck or do I need to go to a leveling kit?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

I have a 350 and snow plow prep and the rear still sits a good 1 1\2in. higher then the front, I have yet to see a snow plow preped 350 sit level, you are going to be better off just getting a leveling kit or adding a couple leafs yourself, I a thinking about going with 3in. blocks instead of the 4in. blocks that I have now to level out the truck some and the the rear down a little...
