Cold Weather Creeper
I bought an 80 F150 on Saturday, and as my luck usually runs, the starter went out just after our first snowfall of the winter. I wasn't looking forward to laying on the ground to replace it, but found a leftover piece of blue insulation board (sheathing) to lay on. I was suprised, it was actually warm, guess it reflects your body heat back. My next trip to the lumber yard I'm gonna buy a whole sheet of this stuff! Might be able to extend the season of my outdoor garage!
BTW, been wondering about this one emoticon...the recipient seems to be enjoying it...must be one of them freaks LOL

Cold Weather Creeper
I have been using that stuff for years. It's great for those cold day's of winter. The ploy-extruded foam boards, (Dow-blue, Foamular-pink), will give a an R-factor rating of 5 per inch. This used in conjunction with a wooden type creeper works out good when rolling on a warehouse concrete foor in the winter time. Been there, done that for about 20 years. Jake.

Which though they're WARM
Can be disposed
Wear a cheap sweater over your
Foul weather rig
So that if the worst comes
Y' kin git RID of that thing....
(Thrift stores are the BOMB!)
PS: I usually just use a sheet of cardboard, mostly to smooth out any rocks. It insulates, and can be readily CHUCKED!
