Engine build vs Truck build
I purchased my 05 SD 6.0 on 12/2/04. Mine engine says something like EN100 04 11 04 on the driver side module cover. Could this mean April 11, 2004? My build date for the truck was 11/6/04. Seven months from engine build to truck build seems long to me, but I can not seem to find anyother date on top of the motor. Are there any major changes to the 05 engine from the 04 engine? This is the first diesel that I have owned and I really like the power when pulling my trailer. Just wondering why engine build date seems so long from truck build date. Any answers? Thanks
