I've finally got something to rant about. I get annoyed when your working on your truck and you take a step forward then take two back. I changed the front spring bushings on my truck two weeks ago and in the process with a jack bent my leaf spring so it didn't sit level. Today I janked the entire front suspension and rebuilt my leaf springs. Now it sits level. A couple of days ago I stole the speedo cable from our '73 Ranchero and it bolted right into my tranny. I crimped the end slightly to it would fit my stock speedo. It had the correct gear so my speedo reads acurate. I took the truck for a spin up to the neighbors to test if my AOD would go into OD and it did. I found out I need to adjust my steering box as it was hard to keep straight. When I went to start it up to go home it wouldn't start. He was nice enough to pull me home. So I install the other guages in the truck and try to start the truck to find out why it won't start, the starter is now going. It spins the engine for 5 seconds and then freewheels. So I can't even turn it over to see if it will start. So I then try to adjust my steering box and the adjustment star strips out. To fix that I'm going to have to remove my driver side header. So that's what I've done in the last 2 weeks.

 

My favorite rants are people who drive slow in the left lane of the highway or Ring Road or better yet when two of them drive side by side olivious or uncaring about the pack of cars lining up behind them,people at 4 way stops that can't figure out that they can go the same time as the person directly across from them so they wait until that person's vehicle has made it across the intersection and then they go,people in a turning lane who wait until the the last arrow flashes and then go so that no one but them can make the turn,the guy at the parts store that trys to sell me crap I don't need every time I go in there and then gets irritated when I say no "Well, if you are doing this then you might as well do that as well and this too.No thanks."That felt better.

I have days like that where everything goes wrong but there are good days were it works out, like the 390 I bought for $100 and it is in great shape. Just finished installing it after changing the gaskets, cleaning/ painting and ready to do a tuneup on it tomorrow. Sometimes life can be sweet!

 

I hear you, idfergusson. I thought Saskatoon had all of the bad drivers but that wouldn`t be fair, have to spread them around.

 

Merge means: "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!!!!!!" I love forcing people off my lane when I'm on a merge. I actually had a friend, when he was in T.O, he didn't realize he was on a merge lane and came to a stop like you do for a yield. The guy behind him got out of his car and ran up to his window, and warned him, if he were anyone else, he porbably would have been shot for doing that. Apparently its like that in the US all over the place too.

I have no clue, they are hard to find for some reason, Ive noticed the same thing.
