Heres the problem
I have a 1992 explorer that i took into ford to get fixed for a popping sound. When i press the brake, release the brake, or turn the steering wheel at low speeds it pops. You can feel it when it does it. Ford said they could not find anything wrong but they said it would probably be shocks and the front sway bar bushings. I paid them $100 for them just to tell me what it might be. Any Ideas

Check for loose wheel bearings (happens a lot), worn radius arm bushings (also happens a lot), Sticking Brake Caliper (lube the slides with white grease, but only the slides), worn or broken Ball Joints, Broken Shocks or Shock Mounts or Worn shock bushings (possible but not as probable as above items), and sway bar bushings and mounts (possible but not as probable as above items). This is all based on my experiences with my '92. I'd raise the front end and check the wheel bearings for play first.
