05 torqshift tranny breaks
my friend has an 05 f350 psd while plowing the other day he saw some tranny fluid on the ground so by the time it got to the dealer it snapped the tranny off the back of the motor and broke the transfer case off the tranny too . now truck is all fixed BUT WHO IS TO SAY THE NEW TRANNY ISNT A BAD CASTING TOO ARE ALL THESE GOING TO BREAK AT SOME TIME or another ?????

This seems to be happing more and more. All cases I have herd were 05's 350's and related to snowplowing. At the dealership where my cousin works, 3 out of five trucks were returned with this problem at the beginig of the season. (split castings) I think that it is caused by the exsesive forward and reverse action that is comon in snowplowing. He also thinks that the casting might have been outsourced to Korea but is not sure.
