Sticking Ebpv
Question...Is it the butterfly in the exhaust port and the rod it is attached to that is sticking or is it the solenoid that is sticking?
Can either be lubricated so they move freely?
Also, would a 97 PSD owner tell me the exact location of the solenoid plug...
Have seen several pics but none show my plug's location.

Its usually the butterfly that sticks. Unhook the rod from the bottom of the ebpv(has a slide clip) and try to work it by hand. To find the plug. Pull of your engine cover...then look at the compressor side of the turbo....right below it attached (at least it should be) to the pedastal should be a two wire plug. If I remember right its right by the front right pedastal bolt. I hope this helps. I'm not to good a describing things.............
