just wondering what you guys did with the throttle cable that are running a 4bbl? i dont think i can use the stock cable since the throttle pull is backwards. oh also which way should i mount my 4160 holley on the manifold? hehe
I also used the LoKar cable and cable bracket. I drilled the hole on the carb. linkage slightly larger and put the clevis end to the linkage. The clamp end hooked in the peddle just fine.
My carb sits on the intake sideways. I have the offy dual port. I bought a throttle ball kit, and used my stock throttle cable, but I had to fabricated a bracket that attaches to 2 of the manifold studs to holde the cable..
I have a offy 4 bbl and a 390 cfm holley, I talked to a guy at offy and he said to mount the carb with the linkage on the side next to the valve cover. I then used lokar cables fot the carb and tranny kick down and 8000 miles later it works just fine. look at my galllery to see,
what exactly is the difference in a dual plane and a single plane manifold, and how do they distribute fuel differently??? can somebody please explain this? thank you in advance...
