Hey ya'll. I was wondering if I could get some help on what to name my truck. It is an '84 Bronco XLT Black 6" rancho lift 35" M/T's. If you have seen a unique name in your part of the country I would like to hear it. Thanks a lot all.
Mine's the SS. First of all, it's huge. Second, she broke down up in the mountains on me, 3 hours from here. It was only supposed to be a 3 hour tour, a 3 hour tour. The idle started getting rough, the....ok, nevermind, you get the idea.
Bronco's got to have a name, how else do you introduce it to your friends. On valentines day what do you put on those special gifts to your Bronco, here truck for you. Some people just don't understand.
Mine is "Tuff or Wutt" except when we are alone in the garage and I have had a few beers and she had a bottle of fuel system cleaner or octane boost, then it's something else. It really gets wild after I have given her a sudsy bath and wax job.
I probabley shouldn't have. I once had a weed wacker that I was close to, so I named it then it died. I was very sad untill the trash man pulled away with her in the crusher.
Some rigs have names.
We have 6 rigs and I kinda credit my kidsfor the names 0.
3 for work (delivery) 3 family
Names as follows:
"Y T " pronounced whitey '79 E250 work van $850.00 85,000 miles since I bought it and still going at 250,000 plus miles
"THE BUS" '91 E350 Clubwagon 15 passenger, when I brought it home my son suggested using to haul kids to school . Seats removed it's still "The Bus"
"BIG RED" '79 F350 DUALLY With 12 foot tool bed and custom canopy. i bought it at city auction it was a firetruck it's big and red what else would you call it. Beside who else has a siren in their truck .
Even my BRONCO Originally called by my daughter "Morrocco" Don't know why, that didn't stick Now it's the "BRRRONCO" like it's cold . Kid's go figure .
The two that remain nameless are my 69 bigblock vette black like my truck, and the family van 1998 GMC Safari.
I think the names add personality , besides we always know which rig we are tailking about.
