New F350 Ordered
I have on order a 2005 F350, 6.0 PSD, Auto, Dually, CC, 2x4, lariet. It has most options except for the moon roof. I have read in different parts of the different forums about part that should of been included but were not. Example would be wheelwell covers, interior lighting and such.
Could I get some ideas of things I should fix or have put on the truck? Where do I order the shop manuals for this vehicle?
With the shop manual in hand I try to do most all my own maintanence.

Hopefully you have a friend in the parts department, don't pay their retail price, tell them you bought the truck from them so they can discount the cost. For example, the hood liner was $106, my friend at GMC parts counter got it for $62. They can go cost plus 10% and tax. You can always get the part number and buy it online. I saved the info from a thread on the glove box light, that will be my next project. Get some mud flaps and carpet liners. I install a Retrax bed cover and Bedrug, now that will set you back $1200.
I've heard it takes about 40 days to take delivery on your truck. My truck was ordered 11/9 and was delivered on the West Coast on 12/22.
