Post Ideas for the Chapter

Lets get some ideas out here for our chapter.

We can print these out for voting once we meet again.

1. Cards with Chapter info for members.
2. Start quarterly show event.
3. Help with members build, work day.
4. Rotate meeting place.
5. Attend shows as a group.
6. Tshirts with logo

Add your ideas to kick around.

Well I have some ideas,
1) Posible Chapter BBQ or picnic type event at some local parks or maybey at the beaches?
2) Those business cards that we had been talking about with info on them to hand out, or handbills that Mil1ion has to print out.
3) Later on maybey a cruise night and getting toegther at least once a year with the Nor cal chpater if they stay open.
4) A chapter newsletter posted here at the begining of the month and emailed out to let everyone know whats to be expected
5) MORE MEMBER INFO, and I cant stress this enough Im going to PM active and new members of FTE letting them know about us if they havent joined already

Those are it for the moment most ofthem we had already talked about at the meet, but I thought those who couldnt attend would appreciate seeing them. I agree with you thoughts Ed, and Im woking on the logo as we type I have to have the FTE logo on it but not alter it so Im redoing it amd making that the focal point.
Thats it for now,
-Chris

Sounds good Chris. I've been PM people hoping to get some members. If you look back at the threads in this chapter you can email the people that had shown interest in the past, maybe they will change their minds if they see the activity.

I really like the ideas. As far as showing our trucks, I think there's only a couple members so far that have something worth showing (no offense to anyone). Member build assists and get togethers will probably go a long way to getting this chapter off the ground.
On another note, we need to get those cards made up quick. I saw quite a few nice old fords driving around Ramona that I wanted to leave a card for.

I agree on the member build-assists. Good idea. An extra pair of hands is just a necessity some times. Even if someone (like me) is not an expert on something, their ignorance makes everyone else look smarter, right?

These are all wonderfully brilliant ideas & need follow-up as soon as practicable.

I myself will need all the Help I can get on my '58 M-100 Panel after it gets down here & my '59 English ford Thames Panel, all because of 3 Herniated Discs I'm rather limited in what I can do these days.

I'm pretty open to anything as long as it's not too far away.
