Power door lock switch honks horn

I have a 94 Explorer. When I press the pwr lock switch (lock or unlock) the horn honks, the high beams come on, and the interior lights come on. The switch does nothing as far as locking or unlocking the doors and the horn and lights are only on as long as I depress the switch. I checked for broken wires in the door jam and panel and found none. Has anyone ever heard of this before or have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

See if you can do a little research on a mysterious black box that might control some of these features. It might be called the GEM module. It could possibly have a problem. I know the trucks have problems like this when water leaks into this module.

Thanks for the help. Would the GEM module be in the drivers door Panel? There is a small black box in the driverside door panel that was vibrating very hard today when I noticed the problem. But, now I cannot recreate the vibration from it.

I think it's under the dash mounted to the firewall if you have one.

I'm having trouble locating The GEM module. Does anyone know exactly where the GEM module is on a 94 Explorer?

Well, I just found out that the 1994 Explorer does not have a GEM module. So anyone have any other ideas as to what the problem is or where to look??
