I'm new to the forum and think its great. Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with the brake pads on the newer ford trucks. I have f-150 2004 and an f-350 2003 , its winter here in Mich. and haven't been able to wash either truck since my shop has been full of other projects but ran one in yesterday and found what looked like little specs of rust starting to set in . Very carfully with a little chemical and elbow grease was able to get it off - which wasn't easy. It came to truck # 2 and ran into the same thing . Talking to a friend and he had one do the same thing and took it back to ford and found it was brake dust . Long story short ford repaint his 250 , I guess he didn't notice it as quick as I did. Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience or thoughts about it.Thanks for any information. Brian.
