if you find the first couple years of fuel injection, they used the twin fuel pumps. what i did for my old 84 was to get a small carburation elec fuel pump (from jcwhitney i believe) and mount it by the frame rail, then mount the ford high pressure in stock location near the radius arm mount. the lines would be nice, cause you'll need to add in a return. (if you can get a good gas tank then that probably eliminates need for that work, i had all those parts so thast what i did and it worked great)
then you'll need all the obvious mechanical parts and sensors, along with a wiring harness and computer.
and lots of time to sort through it. Painless wiring makes replacement harnesses that have only exactlu what wires you need, along wiht labels and all, so depending on budget, that could be looked into as well.
