clogged fuel pump... from the ocean?
My buddy says he has a clogged fuel pump. He was using his truck to lower boats into the ocean and says he got the bed submerged and then, bam the fuel pump was clogged.... Does this make any sense to you?

No, If he has dual tanks or a single tank for that matter and it is properly operating, it is sealed. I hope he is washing the truck thoroughly about twice a day from underneath as salt water is extremely corrosive!! He must have over backed when he launched the boat to submerge the bed. His rear differential vent may have ingested salt water also, I'd check the rear diff. There is no mention of the type truck, year, engine, etc. so no other diagnosis is very likely.
