Performance Transmission
Hey guys,
Hope you can help me out. I have a 74 f100 with a 390 in it. It is slick. I am building an approxamately 420 horse 390 to drop in my beast. I want to put something like a close ratio car four speed out of a big block galaxie ect... and drop my rear end to about 4.10 What tranny do I need. I am afraid the car tranny is too long. Aftermarket is definately an option. I HATE automatic transmissions and do not want a C6. What are my choices and what all is involved in the swap? Thanks
