Fender Flares
Has anyone ever install the after market fender flares ( offered from JC Whitney) on their trucks. I was wondering could they be put on a 1996 Ford F150 XLT Ex Cab 4X4. Are they easy to install? I see they are kinda expensive.

I've installed the Rubber fender extension flares from J.C. Whitney and it went very well on my '96 Bronco. I haven't done the OEM style flares. Try the Appearance & Dress Up Forum. You'll get more info.

I put a set of Bushwacker street flares on my truck to "temporarily" hide the cancer on my rear fenders (its been two years now & still haven't gotten them fixed). I personally like the look of them. They were easy to install, just a couple of screws into the under-part of the fender. I also had to cut back the trim an inch or so on the rear section of the truck.
