D7TE-A2B block number info

Does this number give any information on when the block was cast?

The engine is a junk yard motor that was put in my 79 F150 before I bought the truck. I know it is a truck motor but have no idea what year. Since it is a truck motor (D7TE) it has to be between 77 and 82. Any help?

Found an old post that explained need to check block by the oil pressure switch for the casting codes back there. Will see what I can find and now have info to determine date from that number.

Depending on where the block was cast Michigan (MCC) or Cleveland (CF) the casting date may either be by the oil pressure sending unit or down near the casting code. I have a D7TE CF block cast in 1976.
