Now how do you suppose the theif is going to "fence" those nickels without getting caught? Every bank in America will be looking for anyone cashing in more than a few dollars worth. If the thief cashed in $500.00 worth (that's 10,00 nickels!) each day it would take him 360 days to cash them all in.

Sounds to me like he wanted to add more than his own 2 cents to the issue! LOL!

YEAH! You WIN THE PRIZE!

That was gonna be the second part of the question!

That's exactly what the news said on how long it will take him to cash it all in!

(IF they don't catch him first) LOL!

If nothing else he'll have a lifetime supply of chips, chocolate bars, and coke.

What's the statute of limitations for that type of crime?

These deadlines vary depending on the state, the type of issue and the circumstances of the case. A lawsuit filed after the deadline will be thrown out of court.
what state? could even be considered a federal crime if it was on it's way from the mint.

I think it was Paul and Vinnie at Orange County Choppers. They are going to make a motorcycle out of nickels, to honor President Thomas Jefferson. It is going to take a long time to weld all those nickels together, I hope Paul Sr. doesn't get mad.

One more: 3,600,000/2 drop last 0 = 180,000

(That's what you learn living in Vegas and playing nickel slots )
