I have a 2003 F-250 SD Diesel 6.0 that had some problems a few months into buying it used. Well get this, I bring my truck in for electrical problems and because I found water dripping into the fuse panel. I have a visor on top of my windshield that was there when I bought the truck, just keep that in mind. They fixed the electrical problem by replacing the alternator after waiting 2 weeks for it to come in, but now after getting heavy rains they NOW say that it is leaking in the fuse panel and need to keep it longer. So they let it sit outside for two weeks without looking at the water leak, but now that the alternator has come in, now they found water in the fuse box, before they said that no water was leaking even though a big rust spot is right on the bottom of the panel. Some ideas on where the water can be coming from other then the windshield and down the door jam? They are blaming it on the visor to make it a NON-WARRANTY issue, of course, but any other ideas I can throw at them?

Appreciated in advance for any comments and should I go to a different dealership after dealing with this or is this just typical of what other people have dealt with?
If it is not a factory installed visor then you are out of luck. It doesnt matter that you bought the truck with it allready installed.Even if you bought it at that dealership.Take the visor off and throw it away. good luck!
i had the same problem and i thought it was the windshield but it was actually my sunroof prts where blocked by some *** hole who must of did body work to the drivers side of my 97 expedition he or she lol must sealed the drain hole for the water to escape from the sunroof so whenever it would rain the water would settle and drip until it accumilated enough and started to enter the gem.keep in touch with me i fixed my problem yesterday so im waiting for a heavy rain so i can see if the problem is resolved im about 90% sure this could be another soloution so if u have a sunroof check the drain holes holla back
I think I recall reading a TSB for water leaking on the headliner but I don't recall the details. I have on-line subscription at www.motorcraftservice.com but you can't search TSB's etc. on Oasis on the weekends. I'll try to remember to search tomorrow...
I can't just copy and past as this is copywrited material. So I'll state it in my own words....
Basically it indicates it is for 99-05 Super Dutys and 04-05 F650 & F750. This TSB is dated 11/17/04
Some may have water leaking to the cab through the roof to roof flange seam, at the A-pillars. The water may appear at the headliner, bulkhead area, or the floor pan.
Basically the drip rail weather strip is removed at each door and the body seam to roof inspected at the top of the door opening for gaps or openings. Openings are sealed.
I would point out the TSB number to your dealer and ask them to check it out.
