Hello everybody. I'm new to the site--very informative so far.
I just bought a 2" superlift leveling kit for my 90 f-150 2wd. I was wondering if anybody out there has changed their own alignment bushings on these bad boys and what was involved. The kit comes with the adjustable bushings so I want to know the best way to remove the old ones/install the new ones before going in for an alignment.
Very simple, remove pinch-bolt on upper balljoint, take out old one and drop in new one. When you install new one-split the difference between the high/low spot, then take to Alignment shop.Good luck
Thanks for the reply. It turned out to be a lot easier than I thought, with the help of a little penetrating oil a hammer and flat chissel! Finished up in a little under 2 hours.
