Best way to check the condition (and see what it's been through) is look under the truck. Look at the underbody. The underbody can be a telltale sign of abuse and such. I bought an 01 SCab 4x4 with the 5.4 with 48k on it a couple months ago, and mine has run perfect. Nothing I know of. It's a great truck

They are good trucks and it has the 5.4. Pull the dipstick on oil and tranny, smell tranny fluid for burnt fluid. Ingauge 4x4 and test to make sure it works, low and high. Rich

Hello every body.
I am looking at an 03 screw xlt 4x4 with 37000 miles 4.6. How do the front ends hold up on these?
My salesman did a carfax & oasis and found it to be real good.I drove it and it did just fine.they want $22000 for it.

Well I Bought It. It Has Crappy Tires Which They Are Going To Replace On Tuesday. Lt285/75/16 Wild Country Is Whats On There And They Are Loud And Vibrate The Whole Truck! Replacing With Bfg A/t's. Got A Zero Deductible Bumper/bumper Warranty For Additional 3/36 As Well As A 60k Service. I Think I Did Alright And Love The Truck!
