To cool, need one myself. Maybe do some end tables out of some small briggs engines?? Even a whole basement motif! That's not to redneck you figure?

Man how bad would it stink to stub your tow on that at 2 in the morning... Maybe after the little ones grow up a little more.

And I thought the engines at the pipeline pumping stations were big.
The ones in diesel locomotives are no slouches either. That's one huge engine!

Beautiful, I want to make one but..............How many of you have a wife that will let you put that in the living room?

I am only allowed to put things in the garage, basement and shed!

I was able to get a compromise.. the den (when we get a house). Either there or someplace called a "Rumpus Room" (whatever that is).

I posted a couple of photos in my gallery of a table that I made from an old set of HEMI headers that I had laying around. Total investment $10.00

Blackf350. . . .
Amen to that!
Thanks for the laugh!!
I too, am 'forced' to put 'my stuff' in the garage (when the wife doesn't have her minivan in there), or, a corner in the basement that she 'allows' me to call my woodshop, and the shed.

Again . . . . thanks for the laugh! I can tell you have been married for more than a year!

It would be best to use an aluminum block like they did. You can Find alot of trashed aluminum V-8's around, plus it would be tons easier to move. I read someplace that the pic was an LS1 (I can't identify a chevy at all) I would like to find a trashed 4.6 ford.

My wife will let me have one in the basement, :-) it is My domain with a bigscreen 300+ model cars, and a stereo I have been adding to for 20+ years. I want to make a couch out of a slick 60 front end to match the table :-)
