I just got a new job. After a year and a half of cleaning pools for $9 an hour, I am going to start as a basic laborer at Cemex at ~$15 an hour. Being only 20 and living at home, that is a fortune.
Anyway, this is more of a question than an annoucement. Cemex is the largest producer of cement in the world. They are a global company. What I'm wondering is does anyone else on this forum work at Cemex? Work with Cemex? Even heard of Cemex? In the U.S. it used to be called Southdown Cement until Cemex bought them out about three years ago.
Congrats on the new job! I hope you don't end up packing 100# bags of cement around all day .. but you're young... you can take it ... for a while ... for $15 an hour.
