Are all engine perches the same?
I have a 78 F150 4x4 with a tired 351. I've been thingking about swapping my rebuilt 300 into this truck. I have engine perches from a 79 F100 2wd that had a 300. Will 2wd perches work in a 4x4 frame?
There was a thread by some one doing this same swap in the engine swap forum. Search there and it will tell you that it can work but it involves switching the 351 towers from one side to the other.
