3" Lift

I have a 2004 fx4 with 15,000 miles, I am very interested in lifting the truck
3" - I just want to make sure that nothing else would need to be done for example, sterring column, or whatever ... another words is 3" the maximum?

then what size tires could be considered?

since I am not mechanically inclined how much labor cost would be involved in completing the lift? And for that matter where or what company makes the kits?

Thanks

I have a 3" Body Lift on mine with 325/60R18 (35's). I have a tiny rub when fully cranked but not bad. I also have the Daystar 2.5 leveling kit.

I LOVE the look! PIC's in gallery!

Rancho Suspension makes a 4" kit which fits 35's and still keeps all stock components. go to their website for more info. most other kits are 6-8 inches.

In my opinion, CST lifts are the way to go. Research and compare it against Fabtech, ProComp, Rancho, SuperLift etc... It's been said that CST is the Cadillac of suspension lifts. Checkout it out at http://www.socalsupertrucks.com and take a closer look at the CST suspension in my gallery.
