Camshaft 302

ive searched and all i can find is camshaft applications on high performance 302's people are building. I have a stock 302 out of a 91 bronco and im looking to get a new cam with rollers. Has anyone purchased this for there motor without spending thousands for new heads intakes and so on..
also i understand that since 85 the 5.0's were roller ready. So do i just need a roller cam or the rocker too.

thx alot

all you need is the cam, if your motor is roller then you can use the roller lifters on a new cam. you dont need roller rockers unless you want them aftermarket. i recomend calling comp cams and they will help you select a cam for your application.

You'll need the retainers for the roller lifters but the block is ready to bolt them in. I looked at putting a roller cam in my 90 302, but it was going to run me about 450 for the complete setup. I'm sure someone here has done it cheaper, but i didn't think the gains of the roller cam justified the cost. I went with a Lunati Truck Avenger cam.
