Possible Antifreeze Leak???
Lately I have been leaving my truck run all day at the jobsite because of the cold weather. Today I noticed that I had something dripping out of my exhaust. To me it looks like it is antifreeze, cause when it hit the snow it was a yellow color. And I'm noticing that the antifreeze level is a bit lower. Now I'm wondering what the cause of this would be. I have a '04 F350, 6.0 powerstroke, Edge Juice, 4" Magnaflow Exhaust.

I would bet leaving you truck idiling for longs periods of time you would have build up of some sort or some condensate in the exhaust. Just get her on the road and blow her out and see if that clears it up.

yes it is probably coolant i work at ford as a tech i replace many egr coolers for internal leaks easiest way for dealer to diag is to remove egr valve if coveres in a greasy carbon it is leaking believe me i do 4 per week

Thanks for the info fordDR, I'll have to take it back to the dealer and have them look at the egr. I just had it replaced on Dec 31/04. I was also thinking of getting them to put in a fast idle control box as well, so I can have that constant high idle, instead of cutting in and out. Would this help to prevent this from happening again?
