nerf bars

i have a 76 f150 4x4 and was wondering if someone can tell me what other year nerf bars will fit my truck

I don't know of any that will bolt right up. Do a search. Guys have talked about buying them for a newer pickup and altering the brackets to fit the 73-79s. I've also heard of having a muffler shop bend some 3"-4" tubing and making your own...

I couldn't find any for my '79 so I bought some to fit a '01 crew cab and fabricated some brackets to mount them on.

i would find a set of frame mounted bars and fab up brackets to make them fit, a fellow gave me a set he had laying around, they are about 4"s too short, so im gonna use a few pieces of 4" square tubing with bolt holes drilled in the proper places to make up the difference....that also allows me to drop them slightly........
