For those with the same lift.....I currently run 37's on 17's, with a little little little rub on the front plastic. With minor trimming, what is the biggest tire you guys have run on an '04 F250, with this size kit and still remain functional. I know... I know some guys are going to yelp about not fitting to big a tire under a truck with not enough lift, but I geared it with 4.56's and feel that a 39"-40" tire would offset the gear choice better than 37's, yet still remain with stock power under/off load. I have the superchips tuner, so the power output, along with gears is substantial. In a nutshell.....I want to bring the RPM's down about 400 RPM's @ 80mph. Bring on the answers..........I'll take 'em.
I don't have this setup nor would I recommend it.....but there is a member on a couple of other sites that crammed some 39.5" Irok Radials under his 6" DR lift. He had shimmed the front bumper out and possibly pulled back the inner plastic liner in the fender wells and claimed that for street driving he didn't have any rubbing except when at full lock turning and hitting a big bump. I think the fact that they are only 13.5" wide on a 10" wide wheel helped. I find it hard to believe that they did fit....but he claimed that they did, and he drove it that way for a while.
Of course if you were willing to use a sawzall to massage the fenders you could fit them for off road.

?
????? stock power under load would be close to 38" tire under 4.56"s, DC has the chart but if you had 3.73s before, 4.56s with 38" tires is a 17 RPM off stock tires at 3.73s at 3000RPM.. so your just as close to stock (1" off) now as your would be going to 39"s or further off with taller...
Im not going to Yelp as you mentioned above and tell you how your tires are going to rip your fenders off, but i will give you my opinion that your truck is going to look gay with 6" lift and 40" tires.IMO.. opinions are allowed right?
