ABS ligth is back on :(

The ABS ligth has come back to haunt me, BUT only when I have my manual hubs locked and it wet out ????? The 4x4 is not engaged. Never seen it when its wet and the hubs are unlocked. Could some thing be spinning that might be splashing water around the front wheels or up into the engine ?

I'd check the connectors and put in electrical grease to keep the water out first. If that doesn't help, check the wheel bearings.

Check the wheel speed sensors to see if they are sending a good signal. Magnetics may be worse when the front hubs are locked in.
