Radio Display Fix

I found this link - thought I would share it as there seems to be a widespread problem with the Ford factory installed radio display going out. The fix is described in detail - anyone can do it.

Thank you for the links, the first one is very good. I have always had a problem with Shareamemory.com selling the fix. I think his selling reconditioned boards is great but selling the fix info, trolling in newsgroups (you will find his posts everywhere this problem is mentioned under many names) and now apparently threatening (if you can call it that) a bit underhanded. Thanks again.

My volume stopped working on mine. This is another common problem.

I've heard of the volume problem but it is not as common as the display. The shareamemory.com website also has a fix for that but I don't know what it is. Good luck.

I used the web sight to fix mine. 45 bucks over all. Good service.

Hey.......this sounds great. I'll have to try it and let you know later if it works out for me. My display used to go out for awhile, then come back on. Since september it went out and hasn't come back on.
