Im getting ready to put things back together but would like to go with the AIR OVER LEAF kit by AIR RIDE. Has anyone done this?. If you have could I see some pics with it installed on your truck. Thanks guys.
Speaking from experience, bagging 3 trucks in the last 5 years let me save you some time. Go ahead and 4-link your rear. An air over leaf setup is kinda a thing of the past mostly due to its ride quality and limited lift/drop ability. Are you planning on using a monoleaf (not reccommended) or were you using your stock leafs and a lowering block? A little more info would yield a better answer to the question. It also depends on what you expect to get from this setup? Does this truck need to lay flat? Does it need to be able to gain enough lift to drive up onto a trailer?
The truck is a 53 f100. I have a 3in drop axle on the fron with with 5 leafs gone. The back I would like to keep leafs also with 5 leafs gone. It will be running 18's on the back and 17's up front. All im really looking for is to bring the body down on the wheels when parked, then up when driving. Im not looking for somthing to jump up and down with if you know what i mean..lol. Rought rides are not a problem because im use to my 12in lifted jeep. Thanks for the help
