how tight??
i guess i got all my motor mounting for my truck problem solved... just still looking for cheaper frame mtor mount bracket for 460 , well anyways i m in proicessing of putting back accessories on my 429 engine... and i wasnt sure how tight do u bolt the water pump to the housing? also valve covers? i dont have a book that carry torque wrench listing for my 429 i have a 460 are they the same torque?

Turn the valve covers upside down and put the lip on the edge of a flat table. Take a hammer and beat down the area around the bolt holes if it is raised up. When putting them on, only use a nut driver or when using a ratchet, turn it one-handed with your hand over the head of the ratchet. A couple of days after running the engine, tighten them a little again. A little attention like this, without over torqueing, will extend the time before a leak occurs.
