Question Diablo Preditor in the 4.2?

For those of you who are running the Diablo Preditor chip in a 4.2 are you happy with this purchase? I am waiting for the release of the Preditor for the '05. I'm happy with performance of the 4.2 so far, only have 1200 miles on the truck, but if the Preditor would improve performance and maybe even help with mpg I'd consider the mod. Anybody with strong feelings on this?

There isn't a Predator for the 4.2. There's a Predator for the 5.4 in the F-series. There is, however, a Diablo chip, but it can't be installed in F-series trucks starting in 2004.

Exclamation

But the Diablo Sport isn't compatable with the "05 F-150's (at least as far as the 4.2), which leaves those of us with '05 F-150's with the 4.2 out in the cold! After having checked both Diablo's and Superchips web sites and e-mailing both, it doesn't sound like there will be anything available for several months!

that's too bad..... but then again the engine is brand new for the new body style. Our 4.2's have been around for 7 years already, thank God someone made parts for it after all that time!

I am wondering about the 3-stage if the 87 octane setting is as good as the 93 octane setting? What's the difference in power and such if you got the 87 octance setting along with the 93 octane setting?

Apparently...must be a new thing they're "trying out" but it'll never work. I mean really, who would buy a Ford truck these days?!

the only people i would trust for a truck is daewoo, and they haven't expanded that far yet.

I'll stick to my Vespa for now. Just got a new horn for it.
