double cardan problems
I found a bunch of articles on this site about people replacing the u-joints in their double cardan joint, but i didn't find one that told how to get the u-joints out to inspect the ball. either the centermost u-joint is siezed or something is grinding really badly in the centering ball of my '80 bronco and i can't even think of a way to get it apart to look at it. the centermost u-joint had some play in it so i tried to just tighten it down a little, and now it's completely siezed up. oops. thanks in advance...
