brake problem

OK, 2000 F-250 SD 4x4 with 4 wheel ABS.
My left rear brake seems as if it's on all the time.
I stopped at a traffic light and thought somebody's clutch was burning up.
Got back to work and found out it was my brake, you could fry eggs on the wheel and hub.
Removed the caliper and it didn't seem like the pistons were sticking, I ran them in and out (I know now after reading these forums that you shouldn't do this.)
One thing I did notice is only one piston came out, the other one didn't unless I put a c-clamp on the one that did come and then the other would move.
So I thought the one that didn't move was hanging up. But after screwing around for too long I took the caliper off the other side and it did the same thing as the one I am having trouble with so I am thinking this is normal. The first piston to come out is the one closest to the ground.
I thought at first I had a bad caliper but now wondering if maybe the ABS could be acting up. ABS light is not on.
I am going to put the rear up on jack stands today start the truck put it in drive and see if I can figure out whats going on.
I hate to replace the caliper and still have the problem.
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks!

Your rear disc have a small set of drum brake shoes inside of them for your emergency brakes. Could be that side is sticking. They are also notorious for cracking. May be a piece of brake shoe wedged inside and scrubbing.
