Hey guys, the diesel injectors on my 89 F-350 (7.3) are leaking pretty bad.
The truck sat for about a year before I bought it. I'm assuming the o-rings on the injectors have dried up. The kit at Kragen and Napa is about 75.00.
Does anyone know if I can just replace the o-rings with something from the local hardware store?(I'm a cheap son of a gun, and broke) And if so, what size they are? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx
go to an international truck garage and get a price on the full kit and then ask them for the o ring kit only. you may risk the chance of cracking one of the t's but have at it.
there's always DIS (edit: link is getting jacked - google 'diesel injection service')or MWFI: http://www.mwfi.com/ford_73.htm
$20 - $30. i understand both are very reputable sources.
