Never expected this much information...:P I really appreciate the help everyone has given. That is the beauty of this site. Now it is time to do the research on the different models listed, and make my purchase.

Greywolf your incorect about the power formula your figuring for a 12 volt corect? But with an inverter your using 120 volts so 120volt*10amps = 1200 watts.
I got this from http://www.christianpatriot.com/inverters.htm section 7 about half way down the page. The whole page is some good reading about power inverters but some of it only applys to RVs.
