hey guys im not new to the bronco scene just new to the year i am looking to buy a 78 and a 79 bronco both for a grand i was wondering when i go look at the broncos what am i looking for that may make it not worth it...what should i expect as far as the body and rust. any help is greatly appreaciated

Typically, one would look for the common automotive leaks, signs of engine deterioration, etc. Specific to the Bronco; check the rear window(s) for operation they are usually easily fixed but its a tedious process. Rust is most common along the bottom edge of the tailgate and over the rear wheels. The severity depends on the climate and how well the trucks were cared for. On 78-79 models check the condition of the "C" bushings on the front axle (between the radius arms and the axle housing) for dry rot before you go driving it every day.
