Brake Hardware

I'm currently rebuilding the brakes on my 66 short bed and have run into a problem. One of the previous owners decided to discard the hardware relating to the parking brake. I'm speaking of the arm attrached to the trailing shoe, the cross piece between the shoes and the spring. For safety's sake, I'd really like to have a parking brake. Does anyone know where this hardware can be purchased? I can find everything else, including a self adjuster kit, which was also removed, but nothing for the parking brake. Help, please!!!

I don't know if this will help or not but I remember the 60's and it would be my guess that the parts would be the same for a car also, provided the drums are the same diameter. Such as a Galaxie 500 or so. This could help expand your search.

Thanks for the advice. I'm even considering calling Currie Ent. to see if they have the parts. They're still building and selling new Ford 9" rear ends. They have to be getting these components somewhere.

For anyone else looking for these parts, Currie Enterprises sells them.
