What is an Effie?
Sorry, I am new to this. I am constantly seeing Ford trucks described as Effies. What years do this description cover and how did it get this nickname?

The eff is for F(ord), such as F100, etc. I see it more in regards to the '50's (F-1, etc.) but I've heard it used for later ones, too. The '61-'66 have recently become known as 'slicks' cuz they're slick looking, I guess. I guess 'Ford' is too long so they shortened to 'effie'.
