When I got Euphemia, the headlight assys were completely dis-assembled.
I need an exploded view of the headlight assys that show the right way to assemble them.
outer bucket/grille to innner full bucket to inner-inner half bucket to retaining ring to headlight "door" and the apropriate springs/clips/screws etc.
My 54 shop manual doe not have such a picture.
I know headlight assys aren't rocket science - I'm mainly concerned about using the right screws/bolts in the right places...
I used my non-Scottish scanner and computer (they are CRAP, I guess) to generate and post this illustration. We forgive you for being a little crochety. I've seen the stereotypes in the movies and the Scottish guys are always crusty old farts.
Get adjusting screws 13302 perfectly clean and lubed, along with the associated captive nuts they screw in to. I had paint in the threads and had to double back to adjust the lights. I also had two springs per side (on the inside of the bowl) on my 53 lights. Perhaps I misinterpretted George's lousy scan. You should probably buy a new scanner if you are going to continue doing favors for us George.

Yeah, I'm lookin' into a Scottish outfit that sells a non-CRAP scanner so I can help out better. I can't figger out why my crappy scanner doesn't add all the stuff that's missing on the drawings I put into it.
(Can't believe he'd bust my b*lls like that after telling him how good it is to have him back.... ...The wife says I am a crusty bugger. Says it like it's a bad thing! ???)
Thanks a lot George(& 'fenders), that's pretty much exactly what I was lookin for.
Later,
p.s., changed my signature back to my other favourite - maybe I'll p*ss off all the tree huggers too...

Well Fergie, I was wondering how long it would take to get a rise out of you.
One of my college-age boys was home over the holidays watching some TV and I overheard this one. You might want to try it out as your signature.
"Earth First, Hell Yes - Make Mars Our Bitch"
It displays just the right amount of irreverence and cluelessness at the same time, don't you think? And for the record, I didn't say I agree, or disagree, with the statement, I'm just repeating it for consideration by Fergie.
