Save the SO Cal Chapter !
Hey,
Anyone in Southern California, we need your help and desperately. It seems that our chapter is about to be closed, but we need it! I'm trying to save it because I think we need it, at the same time Im also trying to setup a meet to elect chapter leaders ect. and to get things sorted out. So if theres anyone out there reading this right now PM so we can get things started Im out here in Riverside so anyone else close by speak up. While youre at it let Million know that Im trying to save the chapter and get things setup, I would have thought that by now someone would have stood up and got things started but it now looks like I have to be the one to do it. So PLEASE save the SO CAL chapter!

Come on guys don't make me beg you to pay attention here. It still hasnt been closed yet maybey we can keep it open if I get enough of you guys to show up to a meet and get things sorted out. You can find more details about it in the chapter itself, Ive included a possible location time and date, its tagged on to another post about saving the chapter.

Its in danger of being closed due to lack of activity and the fact that no one has setup any leaders to date, so I would like to hold a meet out here in Riverside to do exactly that. If youd like youre more than willing to come.

Sorry for the slow response. As you know, the mountains are buried in snow and I have not been able to get home for a couple of days. Is the problem just a lack of postings, or do we really need physical meetings to keep it open?

Well,
Its both Im afraid we need physical meetings to show that we are just a bunch of mouse jockeys, and secondly it seems that people dont seem to be willing to reply in the numbers that they do in other forums and chapters. However, we are holding a meeting out here in Riverside this weekend, I realize you probably cant make it due to the weather, but just to let you know that were finally doing something about it. If all goes well this weekend, this could be the start of something really fun and uniqe, so far as I know, in SO Cal. So stay tuned into the chapter and find out how it goes.
We still need all the support we can muster,
