I need some help. My seats are hurting. The turd stain that owned this vehical prior to me absolutly ruined the leather, so I've been searching for replacement leather. It makes me hate this truck. any helpful info? Thanks
I hate to say it, but check with your dealership. The leather on there right now is just a skin and can be replaced, I never knew that before, figured I'd have to get whole new seats. I just replaced my leather, got King Ranch leather from the dealership where my old man works. He was looking for prices on the computer, his boss saw what he was doing and asked him what color he needed, dad told him and his boss said that it's probably not the right color, but they could work. They walked out to the dumpster!! and he pulled out a perfectly good pair of King Ranch leather seat cover, along with the center consol cover between the captains chairs!!! Warranty defect and they were gonna throw them away, so now I have King Ranch seat covers, said they were valued at around $1,000. They don't match the best, but I can sure live with that!!

Some people just have all the luck and farmboy you sound like one of them. I have also seen replacement covers on Ebay.
I priced leather from the dealer. Just the standard to replace the cloth. Just one cover for the bottom was $600 with discount. The Katzin leather from the above website looks like the way to go. Has anyone installed them?
I figured the dealership wouldn't be cheap, never are. Do you have an shop around that does upolstery? Maybe they can make you something. I was in the same boat, my leather seats were shot, oil stains, dried out and cracked. I got some custom cloth seat covers with a the Ford decal on the seat back, they were pertty nice and in extreme temps (cold or hot) the cloth was actually nice noting having to sit on a frozen or burning leather seat.
I too have seen factory replacement skins on Ebay for very reasonable prices. You would still have to have a shop install them for you but you can save a lot of money. I would love to have the KING RANCH COVERS IN MY TRUCK!!!!

Actually, you can do it yourself, I did anyway. It wasn't too difficult. Have to take the seats out of the truck and take the back apart from the base to get the clasps apart that hold the seat skin on. It'll take a little time, but a lot better than paying someone else to do it.
i know this is dealin with leather seat covers, but anyone know somewhere online i could get a set of replacement buckets or a bench for a steal? i just got my stereo installed, and theres not much room in my reg cab, and my amp is under my seat with all that foam crap above it. had to cover it with cardboard. buckets would be nice not only for my stereo, but the springs are going in my bench....kinda un-nerving when you go over a bump and FEEL the sping popping under you...i need to make some time to hit a junkyard and do some scavenging, but internet deals are good too.
Beck's country shop in Urbana, IL can repair all or parts of your leather seats with same as factory leather. I had a mouse chew a hole in the middle of my back seat, and they have the exact color and matching perforation pattern.
I have a 2000 f250 SD Diesel Lariat that shows I slide in and out of the seat. The bottom of the drivers seat is badly worn and even torn above the lever that releases the seat back. Some of you are probably familiar with it.
I was looking on ebay after seeing an earlier post but that link had expired. I found this fellow.
He has a guaranteed leather replacement and 100% positive feedback on over 800 tranactions. Have any of you bought replacement covers from him?
Oh, I forgot to mention they are $195.00
Call around to some of your smaller independent auto body shops, especially if you find one that does custom stuff or hot rods. Odds are at least one of them will know someone that can fix your seat covers. Either by stitching in new pieces, or just sewing you new covers.
