I have front disc, rear drum, all new lines/hoses, and master cyl under floor on my 51. It has a mid 70s Buick manual master cylinder 1" as I recall. I have had it on the street and made a few stops at low speed It stoped great. But haven't had it on the open/wet road yet. I expect to be able to drive it by the end of the month.
My Question, When I installed this system I followed the installiation procedures on a brake conversion web sight. I installed the residual valves 2lb and 10lb, and an adjustable proportioning valve. I didn't install a metering valve as the installiation instructions didn't mention one.
Should I install one or can I adjust out the system properly with the proportioning valve. If I need one does anyone have, or know, where I can aquire one at a reasonable price.
